New from Prince...
The O3 Series prospers with new additions for 2008. "O3’s core premise revolves around oversize string holes (O-Ports), which are ideally suited to improve aerodynamics,” said Roberto Gazarra, director of research and development at Prince. “By refining the size, location, and shape of these ports we've been able to increase racquet speed dramatically, which improves the ability for players to get their racquet in position, making better ball contact and hitting more clean and precise shots.”
The string holes, called Speedports, are sculpted like the air intake ducts on fighter planes and high performance sports cars. They allow more air to pass through the frame more quickly, dramatically reducing aerodynamic drag. Wind resistance is reduced by up to 24 percent. For 2008 Prince has released the O3 Speedport Platinum, O3 Speedport Gold and several new Ozone models.
For Prince's "player's frames", Prince's O Face promotion begins May 15th, 2008 and runs through July 6, 2008. Called Prince O-Face Opportunity Days, this promo offers $25.00 off a second Prince racquet, Prince Bag or Prince Shoes when a qualifying Prince racquet is purchased. The qualifying frames include the Prince O3 White, O3 Speedport White, Black or Tour or Ozone Tour and Ozone Pro Tour.
